I find it funny that every time I go "out" I've been feeling like a complete imposter. For some reason there is a part of me that can't believe that I'm getting to live the "twenty-something" lifestyle. Thus, every time I go out to a bar, have dinner with friends on the rooftop of some cool place in Adams Morgan, or go to a baseball game and get a Guinness, I feel as if I'm living someone else's life and that I'm getting away with something.
This feeling probably extends from the fact that I really didn't do the stereotypical college party scene. I never had a fake ID, didn't go to bars until I was of age, didn't do the walk of shame after a night of partying til dawn, didn't drink myself into oblivion Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, only went clubbing a couple of times, etc. So I guess now that I am part of that more mainstream scene, it seems odd to me.
Obviously this means that I should be going out more so that it doesn't seem so strange... hint hint hint
Cheers.
